They are a family farm from the village of Budanje in the Vipava Valley. For more than fifty years, they have been dedicated to the wine, to the production of grapes for the famous wine cellar and to the production of vine grafts for the restoration of vineyards. I have excellent wine-growing locations at the foot of Mount Kovk and we know how to produce high quality grapes, which is a prerequisite for achieving quality and top wines. Sunflower is a mighty rock on top of Mount Kovk in the Vipava Valley. It got its name simply because it is bathed in sunshine from sunrise until dawn. Just like the vineyards on the Kovka slope, where the sweetest grapes ripen and from which wines with an abundance of sun and its energy are formed in the cellars, which is reflected in the bouquet and aroma of each variety.
