Dora Erzelj winery is a family estate of the Turk family. From time immemorial, they have only grown varieties that are typical of the Vipava Valley (Pinela, Malvasia, Rebula, Barbera). They cultivate 2ha of vineyards that thrive on the steep slopes of Erzelj, on flysch soils. White wines rest for half a year in stainless steel tanks while performing the battonage process. Red wine Red Rosel (a variety of Merlot and Barbera) is aged for one year in an oak barrel. The wines they produce are fresh, light, drinkable. Because they use spontaneous fermentation, our wines express our microclimate and the terroir of our places, which they find very important in wine.
