Viticulture and winemaking are a tradition among the Žorž family at Slap pri Vipavi, supported by the knowledge of modern cellaring techniques. They produce a wide selection of white and red wines on an area of 10 ha of vineyards, and sell them open and bottled. The Žorž family has a vineyard planted with merlot, sauvignon, cabernet sauvignon, ribula, malvasia, barbera, as well as indigenous celery and pinela. Up to 50 people can be admitted to the cellar for a guided tasting. The homestead is included in the Vipava Wine Road project and in the association of winemakers Konzorcij Zelen.
