The VIPAVA 1894 winery in Vipava has a tradition of more than a century in the production and marketing of wines and successfully continues the intention of the Vipava wine growers, who founded a wine cooperative in 1894 with the aim of selling quality Vipava wine to a wider market.

They produce and bottle a wide range of quality and premium white and red wines, which are closely linked to the diversity of the valley, as well as the rich varietal selection. The wines are produced according to traditional Vipava winemaking methods, with a touch of modern technology.

You too can embark on a sensual adventure, a tour of one of the largest and oldest wineries in Slovenia, the Vipava 1894 winery with wine tasting. Walking among the wooden barrels, our wine expert will tell you the wonderful story of the winery's origins and, if you're lucky, even "reveal" a few of the secrets behind the production of the fine wines of Vipava 1894. The full guided tour of the winery with tasting lasts about 1 hour. After the tour, you will also have the opportunity to buy selected wines from the Vipava 1894 winery and thus relive the story of the flavours of our wines at home or to pleasantly surprise your friends and acquaintances with a bottle of the selected wine.
